An example of our recent work is at a flat in South West London. A solid wall was soaked over a long period of time by a leaking pipe in the adjacent bathroom.

Drying the bedroom wall with the internal render and plaster in situ would have taken a very long time, possibly months.

To accelerate the drying of the walls, we stripped back the plaster to expose the brick structural materials. Dust extraction equipment was used to control cleanliness of the work.

With the damp brickwork exposed, a tented drying enclosure was attached to the wall, with the large condensing dehumidifier ducting dry air into the bottom of the tenting. This pressurised the tenting with dry air and created a very dry environment around the wet bricks.

Drying progress was monitored and showed the bricks to be sufficiently dry within 2 weeks for the walls to be reinstated.
